Kratom Reviews: naCHer Apothecary

naCHer Apothecary Vendor Review

Kratom Reviews: naCHer Apothecary

Earlier last month I found naCHer Apothecary on Facebook and noticed they were mailing out free kratom. Thinking this would be a great way to review their products, and get free kratom to try out, I placed an order.  Finally about 8 days later I received a small sample pack of 3 different strains, probably totalling 10 grams per pouch. Green Bali, White Thai, and Red Hulu. Thankfully, all I wasted my money on was the shipping. naCHerApothecary… a really cool name, but a disappointment in their free kratom products.

naCHer Apothecary is an online kratom vendor located out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. They also have a brick and mortar store located inside the Chapel Hills Mall in Colorado Springs. They promote a long list of holistic essentials and also sell natural products as Whole Body Apothecary. At least that is who I paid my $5.00 shipping invoice to. This is somewhat confusing to know which one I should reference when doing this review. Because of the two names, I am adding both to this review. Looking at all their neat products, and the professionalism of their site, I am very saddened to have to give a negative review. I am sure not all of their products are like the kratom samples, so in the future, I may give them a second chance to do well. I understand how difficult it is to keep samples fresh. But there is a remarkable difference between having “QUALITY” kratom and having “SAFE” kratom. Their slogan is simple, “Specializing in functional CBD & Kratom Botanicals with an emphasis on maintaining molecular integrity. Sustainable – Functional – Organic.” I beg to differ that they specialize in any of the above.

QUALITY of Kratom from naCHer Apothecary:

Anyone looking for good quality kratom will surely be unhappy with naCHer Apothecary. Especially someone who uses the Toss & Wash method. The Toss & Wash method basically means  spooning a few grams into your mouth and chasing it down with a non-carbonated drink. If you are unsure about the best way to take mitragyna speciosa, see my article on how to use kratom to find the best method for you. The issue with naCHer Apothecary is not just an unfresh product, but it is dirty. All three samples had a strange aftertaste and left sandy and gritty pieces in my mouth. This means they never washed the leaves prior to grinding. Finding a tiny stone in the White Thai only proved to me their kratom lacked proper care. This is quite disturbing because with the current salmonella outbreak, this could be very dangerous. The kratom samples were not just dirty, but they lacked potency. I found myself doubling up on dosing just to get mild effects. This is partly due to it not being fresh, but still disappointing none the less. The samples all came in individual green packages with the names handwritten on them. Not professional looking at all, and this also makes me wonder where these guys really operate from. But, I guess in a pinch it still would suffice if there were no other options available. 2/10

DELIVERY TIME:

I ordered samples February 20th and received in the mail a plain package on the 28th. This took quite awhile to go through all the red tape. Upon ordering I recieved a separate email from Whole Body Apothecary for my samples. After paying the $5 I recieved more emails regarding the status of my order and shipping. This is great, to be in the know continually about where my product is, but they truly lack professionalism. No one wants to have to go through the added steps of paying an invoice several days after ordering. It would be simpler and more efficient to just pay on the site with a card and be done. It took 8 days total, including card processing time. It may be totally different when ordering products, but after the quality issue I will not be testing this theory. 5/10

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Unfortunately, I have nothing good nor bad to say about naCHer Apothecary’s service. I sent them a message along with my order stating my intentions of this review. Like I stated before, I did not expect any compensation or attention, just letting them know this was taking place. Nothing, no email saying “Thank You” or or even taking the time to show any pride in their product and company. Knowing this review was to be written, I would have made sure to send the freshest product I had along with a simple note of thanks. All I ever received was a bill. I have searched Reddit and YouTube, but see nothing regarding naCHer Apothecary. On Facebook there are a few people boasting 5 Stars. Unfortunately, these people are just discussing their lip balms and muscle salves. So for their lack of Customer Service, I cannot say. Their motto is Customer Service is 3rd and it shows! 4/10

FRIENDLINESS OF SITE:

This is where it gets interesting. Their site is awesome! It is simple and elegant. Each product is easy to find and simple to add to the cart. Each product comes complete with great pictures and captions. The site has more information and images than products itself. They claim quite a bit on their site, promoting more CBD and cannabinoids than kratom. Nonetheless, each product is easy to find and the site is easy to navigate. Honestly, I was surprised to receive such bad products with their site being so good. I truly had higher expectations with these guys just because of how well-maintained the site was.  10/10

DIVERSITY OF PRODUCTS:

Someone looking for variety may fare better choosing a different vendor. naCHer Apothecary only has 11 strains total on their kratom products and 5 choices for CBD. Not much for variety. They offer two white strains, four red strains and 4 green strains. The basics. I can appreciate the simplicity because there truly are just three strains; red, green, and white. Click Here to read what each strain does. However, when it comes to variety of products, alone they score low. There is not much to choose from. 5/10

METHODS OF PAYMENT:

The only way to purchase from these guys is to wait for them to send an invoice. They do not offer methods of payment directly on site, and that is a waste of time. To wait for an invoice, then to pay later is ridiculous. Basically, you order and wait for someone to contact you back. I am sure they accept all cards because I originally paid with my Visa. 2/10

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING:

Searching online forums, such as Reddit and YouTube, has offered nothing on naCHer Apothecary. Their Facebook page boasts a few reviews but not much about kratom. 12 people do like their muscle salves and lip creams, and a couple do mention Red Thai. These are only regarding free samples also, so that is important to take that fact into consideration. Not much else to say. 7/10

CONCLUSION:

To sum it all up, do not waste your time. Their products are lacking integrity and that is a huge concern. Even though they state molecular integrity, the sheer fact that stones and sand in the product means it was not washed. There is a huge risk when taking kratom that is unwashed. Farmers use numerous pesticides and other chemical agents and if the leaves are not adequately cared for you risk exposure. Exposure to pesticides can cause neurological damage and poisoning. This is something that I myself must start thinking about, and I urge everyone who takes kratom also to be more careful. We cannot trust everyone and should only stick to vendors whom we trust. naCHer Apothecary is one I no longer trust and will not use again. If you wish to find quality products at a fair price, always use a “Trusted Vendor.” Greg’s Botanical out of Tampa Bay, or PA Botanicals in Pennsylvania are two vendors whom are very trustworthy. Feel free to click the links above to visit my reviews of both these excellent vendors. Be careful putting things in your body and avoid naCHer Apothecary. They seem to specialize in soap. They definitely should stick to just that, in my own opinion, before they hurt someone.
